“But if anyone has the world’s goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God’s love abide in him? Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and truth.” -1 John 3:17-18
It is our desire to equip Crosspoint members to serve our neighbors in word and deed as an outward expression of the mercy we have received from Jesus Christ. As Christ radically transforms our lives, it is our prayer that our community would be radically transformed by the gospel.
Each Connecting Point group has chosen a “Hope for Clemson” project. In order to achieve one of the core components of our groups, “influence with outsiders,” CP groups are encouraged to have at least one outreach per month at their Hope for Clemson site. Groups are reaching out to dorms on Clemson University’s campus, neighborhoods with international students, homeless shelters, and many other locations in Clemson and the surrounding community.
